Work on Sundays and Holidays: Construction/Contractor work hours in Symphony Isles are limited to 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. No construction is to take place on Sundays or on designated holidays. These Holidays include New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Individual property owners may perform internal non-noisy work on their own property outside of these hours as long as they work alone and no construction equipment/tools are used. Residents are reminded that compressors, power washers and other lawn contractor type tools that make noise may not be used on Sundays or the above holidays. --------------------------------------------------------------- Hurricane Shutters: The Hurricane shutter policy states that whether permanent or temporary, hurricane shutters may cover windows/doors one week prior to the predicted arrival of a hurricane/named storm but no longer than one week after the predicted/actual arrival of such storm. In cases of special circumstance, the Board of Directors may, at its sole discretion, grant a hardship waiver for further extension of the time period allowed. Homeowners must appear before the Board of Directors at its regularly scheduled meeting to apply for such a request --------------------------------------------------------------- Boat and/or Trailer Parking in Driveways: For purposes of maintenance or transport, Boats/Trailers may be parked in a driveway for up to 72 hours in any given rolling 30-day time period. If additional time is required, boats/trailers may be parked at the boat ramp for an additional 72 hours in the same 30-day time period. Residents must sign in at the guard gate in all circumstances. (Driveway or Ramp) Please note: the sign-in log at the gate must be used. Phone calls to the gate are not allowed. --------------------------------------------------------------- Boat and/or Trailer Parking at the Boat Ramp: Boats on trailers may be parked at the Boat Ramp for up to 72 hours within any given rolling 30-day period. Residents must sign in at the Guard gate. (Please note: Phone in requests will not be allowed). Trailers used to launch boats must be moved to the residents’ property after launching and should not remain at the boat ramp. --------------------------------------------------------------- Parking on Common Property: Passenger: Vehicles (non-truck, trailer, SUV) may be parked in any of the above areas for up to 3 days only when registered with the Guard gate. Approval from a Board member is required if there is need to park for more than 3 days. A message asking for permission on a Board Member's answering machine does not constitute permission. Pick-up Trucks: are allowed to be parked ONLY at the Gate lot for up to 3 days. Registering with the Guard Gate is required. R.V. Parking: No R.V. Parking is allowed in Symphony Isles except as stated in the Declarations: 6.11, and must be signed in at the gate: Vehicles ....a recreational vehicle or motor home may be brought upon any Lot for a single visit for loading and unloading purposes only, but in no case may this period be for more than twenty-four (24) continuous hours... Visitors traveling in a self-propelled recreational vehicle or with a trailer will store such vehicles on any storage area designated common property which may be available, for a period not to exceed seven (7) days, unless any additional period is approved by the Board of Directors or their designee. Such vehicles shall not be lived in during the course of the visitation period... --------------------------------------------------------------- Sanctuary Dock Set Back: The Dock installation set back has changed to 15 feet. --------------------------------------------------------------- Basketball Goals Basketball goals are permitted to remain in a driveway overnight only when Hillsborough County School is not in session the following day. Basketball goals must be put away, completely out of sight and concealed, all other evenings. --------------------------------------------------------------- After-Hours Delivery Policy Deliveries by commercial vehicles to Symphony Isles are limited to the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. No deliveries from commercial vehicles are to take place on Sundays or on designated holidays. These holidays include New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Specific exceptions are made for food delivery, catering and floral delivery, which are allowed any time, any day. Deliveries by private vehicles without commercial signage are allowed daily during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight.
--------------------------------------------------------------- Garbage Collection Policy Garbage for collection should be placed by the curb no more than 24 hours prior to Sanitation pickup. This includes routine garbage, tree and plant clippings, and recycling.
