The postmaster said "if you are still receiving your neighbors mail - it is important to notify the Post Office of the "date" the mail was placed in your mailbox."  This will help them track the mail person creating the issues we are all experiencing.

Mishandling or Mis-Delivered Mail:

There are many people with mail service problems right now. The postmaster told us it is our responsibility to report mail problems such as mishandling and mis-delivery. He is right; our approach is just to give the neighbors their mail, but it does not help resolve the problem as the postmaster then thinks the service is fine.  

It is very important to call every time the mail is delivered wrong so they know and can fix the problem. It is a pain for everyone to have to call every time, but we really need to do it. Only by seeing the frequency and magnitude of the problem will they act to fix it.
